What is StemWave?
StemWave is a non-invasive acoustic wave therapy designed to stimulate the body’s natural healing response. Focused sound waves are delivered to injured or painful tissue to help improve circulation, reduce inflammation, support tissue repair, and decrease pain.
Treatment Details
- Session length: Approximately 7–10 minutes
- Treatment plan: Most patients require 5–12 sessions
- Cost: $160 per session
- Insurance: StemWave is not covered by insurance

Who Performs StemWave?
StemWave treatments are performed by trained and certified medical assistants under the direction of your physician.

StemWave appointments cannot be scheduled online.

- Monday: 1:00 PM – 3:45 PM
- Tuesday: 8:30 AM – 11:45 AM
- Friday: 1:00 PM – 3:45 PM
Important Treatment Information
- Patients taking opioid medications must stop use 6 hours before treatment and remain off opioid medication for 4 hours after treatment.
- Please notify your provider if you have an autoimmune disease, as this may affect your treatment plan.
- Patients who have recently received a cortisone injection must wait 2–4 weeks before beginning StemWave treatment.
Who Cannot Receive StemWave?
StemWave is not recommended for patients who are pregnant, have a pacemaker, or have a bone stimulator.
After Your Treatment
Stay hydrated after your treatment. Mild soreness for 24–48 hours is normal. Avoid anti-inflammatory medications unless directed by your physician.
