What is StemWave?
StemWave is a non-invasive acoustic wave therapy designed to stimulate the body’s natural healing response. Focused sound waves are delivered to injured or painful tissue to help improve circulation, reduce inflammation, support tissue repair, and decrease pain.

Who Performs StemWave?
StemWave treatments are performed by trained and certified medical assistants under the direction of your physician.

Important Treatment Information
Stop opioid medications 4 hours before treatment and remain off for 4 hours after treatment.
Notify your provider if you have an autoimmune disease.
Wait 2–4 weeks after a cortisone injection before beginning treatment.
Who Cannot Receive StemWave?
StemWave is not recommended for patients who are pregnant, have a pacemaker, or have a bone stimulator.
After Your Treatment
Stay hydrated. Mild soreness for 24–48 hours is normal. Avoid anti-inflammatory medications unless directed by your physician.
